The floral department looks seriously nice too -- I love the color scheme and especially the fern wallpaper on the back wall. It probably looks a little less interesting now that the holiday decorations (including some balloons in multiple very pretty shades of green) are gone, but it's still much nicer than any other post-merger/post-Lifestyle floral department I've seen. The LED-lit shelves holding vases and such are another nice touch -- my local Safeway got very similar shelves a few years back, and I wonder if they were a trial run for this store. It's just too bad Safeway's floral pricing and service has gone so far downhill in recent years (there were actually employees at the floral counter when I took this picture, but that was probably just for the grand opening since there were tons of employees here at the time).
