Back outside

After all the design reviews and general nonsense, the front of this store does actually look pretty nice along this major shopping street. It's certainly a lot nicer than the parking lot that was once here, which some neighbors explicitly mentioned as something they wanted to preserve! Something looks a bit off with the Safeway logos -- somehow, they look more rectangular and less circular than I'm used to, but I can't tell exactly what (if anything) is unusual about them. 

We've been having an extremely mild and warm winter (basically not a winter at all) this year, but definitely not warm enough to wear shorts like the guy on the right was!
