The store is quite large by Save-On standards (which is probably why they moved into the old Safeway instead of that becoming the new PriceSmart), and has a pretty neat design, including a large greenhouse roof over the left half of the front end. I'm glad it's sticking around as a grocery store (maybe I'll even visit it next time I'm in Vancouver -- it isn't open quite yet, but I can't imagine it will be that much longer), rather than being replaced by one of the apartment towers that are popping up all over this area (despite it being way out in the suburbs, Coquitlam is seeing a surprising amount of development).
