Looking back

The whole produce department looks quite nice, even compared to other near-identical stores. Part of that is probably because this store stuck with the Art of Fresh promotional signage rather than the Sincerely stuff that was everywhere around this time -- Sincerely probably wasn't classy enough for this store! I particularly like the minimalistic Safeway S used on a lot of signage here -- that seems to have been a Norcal Division special, and I wish it had been used more broadly within Safeway since it looks really nice.
