Get ready

On this visit, the side hallway had a lot of empty spots, but they've since been filled with new restaurants. I was just here this past weekend (the Sears is finally closing next month -- I never thought that was going to happen -- so I had to make my annual visit a bit earlier than normal this year!) and it's impressive how many restaurants and fast food places have popped up all over the mall, almost like the Canadian malls I've visited!

Huh, I didn't hear about the Southcenter Sears closing! Granted, I don't really keep up with the latest Sears/Kmart news these days. I'm probably less surprised that it is closing than maybe you were, but it is odd that it lasted as long as it did! Oh well, I'm glad you were able to get down there before it closed. Granted, I doubt there was much worth seeing there in terms of inventory!

    1. Surprisingly, it was actually less empty than the last time I visited it (last December), but with an even more imbalanced product mix!
