The bakery itself seems strangely empty, with just a couple freezers for mochi ice cream (that was a real fad for a few years, but one that I thought was largely over by 2023) and other frozen desserts -- the portable freezers look a bit tacky here! I guess I'm just used to the seriously cramped stores we have around here. The bakery's tile isn't all white like the meat department, but I've always hated the greenish-brown color they used here. The woodgrain on the bakery cases is a bit ugly too and definitely doesn't match the rest of the store.
