The great blue outdoors

Looking back, the fabulous Marina windows capture the palm trees and blue sky and water beyond. I'm so glad I had my new phone for this trip -- it did a great job of capturing the view through the windows in a way my previous ones never could.

The one oddity about the deli here is the menu boards being mounted on the back wall instead of hanging from the soffit. The hardware is all there for them to be hung, but it looks like they'd take up nearly all of the space between the ceiling and the top of the cases -- that would be rather awkward! I wonder how long it took for the employees to give up and decide to move them. 😉 This space is also used for the bakery displays, since there isn't a real bakery department in this store.
