Sears has a lot to apologize for

Here's a closeup on that hollowed-out checkout counter, with a rather cheap-looking sign telling you to try the other side of the store. It looks like that's the sign they would have used whenever there was no one working at this checkout, though since it's right next to the main exterior entrance, I would have expected it to be the one that was always staffed.
