Promotional insecticides

I guess we're back to the weird aisles again! Honestly, this whole scene is pretty weird -- a table with a fancy tablecloth displaying Pringles, Coke, and toilet paper, a whole endcap of energy drinks, flowers invading the actionway, and tons of stuff still in its shipping boxes. It's also interesting to see the self checkout sign that matches the rest of the decor -- Save Mart must have been a fairly early adopter of self checkout, and kept it long term (unlike Albertsons, which kept switching back and forth).

Promotional insecticides aside, there are some strange categories on these aisle markers. Do humorous cards really need to be separated from greeting cards? I can kind of get seasonal cards in the sense that most stores have a separate seasonal aisle so that might cause some confusion, but I think most people know that humorous cards are in the same area as the regular greeting cards!

Pool supplies certainly seems like a California type of thing! It is strange for me to imagine a supermarket having a garden supplies aisle even if my local Grocery Palace had an entire Albertsons indoor and outdoor garden center! Kroger and other grocers do sell garden supplies seasonally, but they usually keep that stuff outside or at the front of the store and not in the general aisles. Of course, we've seen QFC keep bags of soil out in strange places in your area so who knows.

    1. Yep, it's all weird! Unfortunately, I don't remember what sort of pool/garden stuff they had. I can't imagine it was all that much, but it's definitely a bit strange!
