Dairy, gone

The old dairy box was even still powered up and operational! It's weird to see it completely empty but still signed and lit up -- looks like something out of a store closing sale or a weather event (by which I mean more than an inch of snow -- Seattle doesn't handle unusual weather very well!). Even the sale tags were still up, which makes me think things had been moved to the new case very recently when I visited.

Ha, if I didn't know any better, I could have guessed that this photo is an example of the Krogification of Safeway! Decor which has fallen off/been taken off, terrible concrete floors, and products randomly placed! The hole in the wall is a bit too much for Kroger even, though I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a Kroger with a hole in the wall.

    1. Ha! I don't think I've ever visited a Kroger that was quite this disheveled (outside of a remodel), but I think you're onto something!
