The rest of the top floor is home to the furniture department, with this apparently being the colorful corner. The orange loveseat and avocado green chairs look straight out of the 70s, but at least that's better than greyscale or beige! I wouldn't want those in my house, however.
Ha, there isn't much in this photo that I'd take home today...or any day! I'm not a big fan of leather furniture though except for office chairs. Don't ask me why office chairs are the exception, but I'm typing this from a leather office chair from OfficeMax in 2006! I suppose that office chairs tend to be pretty form-fitting and so there isn't much problem with sliding around in an office chair. Plus, they are easier to clean than cloth which seems to matter more with office chairs than sofas!
ReplyDeleteAbout the only thing here which looks interesting is that jade table lamp. It's too bad department stores don't have good lamp departments anymore! At least I have not seen a good lamp department in a while. Montgomery Ward used to have a great lamp department, but then again, they had a lot of great departments.
I'm not a leather furniture person either -- I don't like the way it looks and definitely don't find it comfortable! It especially wouldn't be comfortable on a hot day like today!
