Just like the sign we saw at the beginning implied, this store keeps a big chunk of its floral department outside in the courtyard between the two buildings. Most of the outdoor products are live plants, which makes sense, but there's also a section of cut flowers (which you can see in the previous picture). That seems a bit surprising in the California sun, considering stores often keep cut flowers in refrigerators inside! But presumably it's worked for them for the last decade plus, so I guess it's fine.
