Deluxe windows

The historic architecture definitely makes the "wine cellar" name feel a lot more appropriate here than is does at a typical Safeway. You can nitpick the fact that it's above ground and these windows look out onto a bright and sunny courtyard, but at least this "cellar" isn't a big glass box!

This is pretty fancy for a Safeway! Well, Vons, but still. I wouldn't expect a Pavilions to be this nice even. I suppose the locks on the Tito's bottles indicates that this is a Safeway after all and not a fancy restaurant or liquor store, lol, but it still looks pretty nice. I wonder why the Tito's price tags are both ripped up like they are! The funny thing is that although Tito's comes from Austin, you wouldn't see Tito's for sale at an Austin Randall's since it is illegal for supermarkets to sell hard liquor here.

    1. It's extra fancy for a Vons, which is Safeway's lower-end brand in Southern California! I have no clue what the deal is with the price tags -- maybe there was a sale that expired and this was their solution, which would at least be a little bit better than leaving up sale tags from weeks prior the way that my local Safeway does!
