Crisscross

And of course I had to get some more goofy escalator pictures -- it wouldn't be this blog without those! I wish Macy's had done something to make the escalator corridor a bit less blah when they did their recent work to this store.

Huh, it is interesting to see a nice Macy's bag in this photo. I wonder if that is because of bag laws in your area. Around here these days, Macy's only seems to use bags which are basically the same as the standard plastic grocery bags (not the super thick and big ones that Safeway sells for 10 cents in Portland at least, lol). In fact, not only are they basically the same thing as Randall's bags, but the Randall's Sincerely bags probably have a better design than the very basic design on the Macy's ones! Those bags look terrible for what is supposed to be a nicer department store! Certainly at one time, those paper bags with handles like what is in this photo were common at better department stores.

    1. Interesting! I definitely wouldn't associate Macy's with plastic grocery bags! It's been a very long time since I bought anything from a department store in person, so I don't know what other stores are doing around here these days.
