Finally, it's time to head upstairs and see the nice part of this store! The up escalator is also by the shoe department, right next to the Finish Line wall. It has the same weird glass enclosure as the down escalator had -- maybe there's some obscure building code reason that this level has to be divided off from the rest of the store, though the enclosures definitely don't look fire-rated at first glance. (My first instinct is always to blame some obscure fire code requirement for weird design choices!)
