I'm not sure what's going on with the bakery sign's subtitle here -- it's missing a letter and a dot, and the letters that are still there look a bit wobbly. Did someone hire Kroger's decor installers to put up these letters? 😉 It's particularly funny to me how the missing letter resulted in "PA Tries", since I'm from PA -- Port Angeles, not Pennsylvania as most people would probably think of! The line drawing on the right confused me for a bit too, as at first glance, it looks more like a round of cheese than a cake, especially with the color scheme they chose!
The Kroger-like flooring is so bad here that I didn't even notice the Kroger-like missing letters! I am willing to overlooking the falling signage since everything else above the floors otherwise looks pretty nice, but those floors! Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteYeah, like I said at the start of the set, the floor starts out not looking too bad, but then things fall apart the further into the store you get! Admittedly, it doesn't look that much worse than the patchy white vinyl the Seattle Division installed in most of their Modern remodels.
