Is it just me, or does the ceiling here remind you of the famous Grocery Palace wavy soffit? This part of the store, mostly home to the kids' department, actually looks pretty nice (as long as you ignore the ugly ceiling on the left side of the picture, and the clothing racks that appear to be made out of PVC pipe). I'm always a fan of shiny tile!
I really don't understand why someone would pay a lot for jeans which come with holes already in them! Oh well, I guess I could ask why someone would operate a department store without a proper ceiling as well, lol.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, things are finally starting to look like a department store here...if we look at the right side of the photo at least. I've seen a few different types of hybrid drop ceilings before, but nothing quite like this. That wavy bit does look a bit Grocery Palace-like!
I'm actually a bit surprised to see how orderly the displays and racks are at this store. They aren't perfect, but it is better than most of what I've seen at Macy's in recent years!
Ha, I've said that about pre-holed jeans for decades! Same for pre-dirtied jeans. I'm surprised they're still a thing!
