Safeway was making better use of the awkward front end area on this visit, placing some produce and bakery displays (healthy and unhealthy all in one spot!) in the area in front of produce and customer service. Unsurprisingly, the customer service counter was left as is in the remodel, keeping the old glassed-in setup, though its signage got downgraded (no shiny tile here, sadly).
