Stepping back a little, here's a look all along the rather elaborate facade of this store. While I may not love every detail about this, Haggen sure knew how to design a store that looked different from what everyone else was doing! The whole space here would be used for the garden center during the spring and summer, which is probably why there's a crash door like what you would normally see leading to the stockroom visible here -- it's quite odd seeing one of those leading to the outdoors! I was going to say that I can't imagine it would be all that well insulated, but then I remembered that this store has a giant open hole in its front wall that you walk through instead of normal doors, so that probably wasn't a significant consideration for this store's designers!
