Front wall

Things look a bit less weird from this angle -- until you realize that that's the pharmacy you're seeing on the front wall, not the customer service counter, and then it becomes very weird again! Off in the background, you can see the walk-in beer case sticking out from the perimeter wall (awkwardly, the sign is mounted above it on the exterior wall) -- this is the only Albertsons to Safeway conversion that I've seen where they kept (and even moved, since it should have originally been in the middle of the store) the beer walk-in! This is all so weird that I originally thought it might have been original to the store after all, since this is a fairy early Grocery Palace, but that news article I linked towards the beginning of the set certainly indicates that this was all related to the conversion.
