It's hard to compete with the produce sign, but the dairy decor is pretty awesome too! It includes an illuminated sign (though it's difficult to see the illumination with the lighting here) and a faux-window panel cut into the wood backdrop, both displaying a watery scene (which doesn't quite seem to fit with dairy, but whatever). It's not that common to see this sort of still-image faux-window anymore, with video displays being so popular (and easy to get) these days, but I really like them! I could totally see an entire decor package being built off of this, though it would really only work in a smaller, low-ceiling store rather than a typical supermarket.
Huh, I was wondering what kind of design that was in the other photo of the milk case. It almost looked like a marbled design there, but I can see the water design here. It does seem a bit strange by the dairy case, but I suppose there are cases of 'Overachieving H2O', whatever that is, in front of it! Anyway, the lighted fake window looks pretty neat and unique. The size of the Dairy sign rivals some of the smallest installations of Lifestyle here at some of our Houston Randall's!
ReplyDeleteI also don't know what a Kelly's Kookie is. That might be something especially targeted to Haggen shoppers, lol.
