This store has a similar vintage-truck-with-cow scene to what we saw at Snohomish, but this time with what certainly appears to be a real truck, or at least a much more realistic replica than what that store had! It's only got one cow in the back, though it is appropriately accompanied by some bags of Steer-Gro.
Huh, I wondered if maybe this was similar to the truck Safeway has been using at some grand openings recently, but that is not the case. While they are both red, and probably from a similar year, the Safeway one is an old Dodge truck and this one is a Ford. Well, anyway, it seems that they have the same idea at least, but the Safeway one is not a permanent fixture at any one location and it certainly appears to be roadworthy as it looks like they may have driven it to the store! ReplyDeleteInteresting! I haven't seen that truck around here, though there's only one store that has opened anytime recently and I wasn't there on its exact opening day. It's neat to see that, and that looks like a pretty neat store too -- at least on the outside, with its Marina flair; the inside certainly doesn't look like anything special, unfortunately.
