The Urban Mix remodel really highlights one of the oddities of this store -- a huge portion of the perimeter wall, probably close to 1/3 of the entire store, is taken up by the meat department. It's a good thing QFC introduced some secondary signs for the department, since the original version of Urban Mix would have just had an endless sea of those metallic/woodgrain panels! They are quite a cool feature, one of my favorite parts of Urban Mix, but having the entire right-hand wall and half of the back wall covered exclusively with them would be a bit much, I imagine.
