Thankfully, the rest of the store looks a good but nicer, starting with the purple liquor section. I've been trying to figure out why Safeway would choose to set up shop on the Washington side of the border, when Idaho is typically considered more "business-friendly" -- I wonder if Idaho's stricter liquor laws may have had something to do with it, though their laws today are pretty much the same as what ours were until quite recently (I have no idea what restrictions Idaho would have had in 1980).
