Blue back actionway

This is such a classic vintage Safeway scene -- a narrow back actionway with a soffit along the wall, and those square light fixtures installed on the soffit. Thankfully, this one isn't that narrow, and the soffit doesn't stick out too far from the wall -- that means the decor is actually visible here, unlike some vintage Safeways I've visited. The layout of this store also follows the Northwest standard a lot more closely than many of these vintage Safeways do -- I'm not sure if it was always like this or if it was rearranged at some point, but the milk box looks old enough to potentially be original!
