The freezers in this store (and pretty much every Target) look straight out of the 90s with their old-fashioned metal handles and overall grey color scheme. Even the circular category markers, one of my favorite Target design elements, are boring here, with their traditional red color switched out for black and white. Blah.
Here's something different for you as it relates to Target P-fresh refrigeration. I came across this photo from inside a Missouri Target that originally opened in the 1970s. Check out that coffin cooler! I almost wonder if that is an old Target Foods cooler, but the more typical standing coolers seem to have the same design so I don't know!
