This whole side hallway was tacked on in the 80s when Sears arrived, but you would never know that by looking at it -- they did an impressive job of matching the architecture of the original part of the mall! It feels weird to refer to anything in this wing of the mall as "impressive", though -- it has a rather sad vibe to it with the empty storefronts and abandoned kiosks dumped in front of the wall closing off where an anchor tenant used to be. The coin-operated massage chairs make this feel more than a little like a forgotten corner of an old airport terminal... but I imagine that's a feeling that few people other than myself would get! (I've spent plenty of time in those quiet corners of airports, waiting on very long layovers or after getting to the airport way too early before a flight.)
