If you've been wondering about all the construction in the background of some of these photos, well, it isn't super interesting -- the old Sears anchor used to extend to the left here (awkwardly sticking out from the rest of the mall), before being demolished in early 2019; over two years later (December 2021), they were finally working on enclosing the end of the mall where Sears used to connect. The Sears building was effectively replaced by a pair of strip malls forming a L shape in the space where the Sears parking lots once were, with a new parking lot in the space of the old store.
