The Ralph Lauren store-within-a-store looks pretty nice, even if I would absolutely never wear any clothes from it! (Basically all of my clothes are store brand from one store or another.) It's interesting to see this setup here -- Macy's doesn't seem to do brand-dedicated sections all that much compared to, say, Nordstrom.

I like that security camera that looks like a semi-circular disco ball! For better or for worse, the interior here doesn't look too disco-era aside from that camera lens.
ReplyDeleteThe clothing here mostly looks presentable. I wouldn't have a problem wearing it, but I likely wouldn't want to pay Macy's prices for it even with their usual 60% off sales! It's possible to get good quality clothing like this from less fancy brands for much less from respectable stores.
I'm not opposed to store brand clothing. Maybe not Dip, lol, but I have been wearing Dillard's brand (Roundtree & Yorke) and Sears brand (Covington) slacks this week. I have no complaints about either!
I remember the days when those domed cameras were everywhere... you really don't see them all that much these days, and it feels like they just faded out of existence without anyone noticing.
DeleteMost of my clothing right now is Costco (pants) and Land's End or JCPenney (shirts). I've found that the Costco clothing I've bought lasts forever!
