Well, OK, cloudy over the store but sunny in the distance... the weather in San Francisco was (as expected) highly variable over the couple days I was there, from warm and sunny to pouring rain. Anyway, this angle gives a better view of the sunshades, along with the matching cart corral at their base -- not sure if that's an original detail or something that was added later and nicely designed to go along with the original architecture.
