Stepping inside

This whole store has surely been reconfigured extensively since it was built, including an addition on the left side that appears to be from sometime in the 80s, but much of the flat-roofed area was part of the original salesfloor, and even originally had windows matching those of the arched section. That picture shows the store with a weirdly off-balanced look to it, very different from the perfect symmetry of typical Marina Safeways! Honestly, I have to wonder what the original designers were thinking with that choice... Anyway, it may not look like anything out of the ordinary yet, but as I said yesterday, this is a brand-new decor to the blog...
