Safeway @ Mb

It's hard to get much more early-00s than this! The @ sign is so extremely of that era, as is the "mb" logo and the overall stainless-steel design. It seems that this decor package leaned towards a somewhat industrial design (very popular in stores of this era), compared to the more rustic design that Lifestyle v1 took on -- an interesting departure, since normal Proto-Lifestyle also had a rustic look. As for "mb", it confused me at first since another sign we'll see later refers to this store as "Safeway @ Mission Place", but I'm guessing this stands for Mission Bay; I have to wonder if the logo is something Safeway invented just for this special store or if it was once used in other places within the Mission Bay development (the latter would make more sense, but I can't find any evidence for it).
