Looking back

This is just another picture of the produce department, but I think this might be the first time I've shown the current "Art of Fresh" produce promotional signage. It seems Safeway is trying to salvage their reputation after their produce department went sharply downhill in the years following the Albertsons merger, but it would help if they, uh, actually improved the quality of the produce they sell! 🤔 I sadly didn't get a specific picture of it, but this store is one of the few Safeways left with one of the classic single-deck produce cases that were the standard up until the merger, under the window towards the front of the department.
