The L-shaped grand aisle finally ends at the wine department in the back left corner, which is a completely typical QFC wine department, apart from the "wine to compliment every table(?)" sign, a tagline I don't remember having seen elsewhere. This store's Bountiful remodel seems to have been a bit more thorough than most, since the wine department doesn't have any Fresh Fare-style shelving or signage hanging around.
This is a pretty run-of-the-mill photo (and store) for this milestone to fall on, but this is post number 5,000 on the blog! (Which makes it number 5,950 overall.) That feels like a pretty big milestone for me, and I have to thank all of you who read and comment to keep me engaged and interested in continuing this for the foreseeable future! And speaking of the future, coincidentally, my backlog is almost exactly 5,000 photos long at this point, so I'll certainly be here for quite some time to come! 🙂
Congrats on the milestone! Nothing against Bountiful or Lifestyle, but they seem like bland decor packages for a major milestone post, but oh well. At least it isn't Artisan!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Kroger and wine, have you ever been to a Krobar? Link: https://goo.gl/maps/EzeKz6ttjb65ekX57
Thanks! Honestly, I feel like Bountiful is a good bit less bland than Lifestyle, but people who see it all the time may think differently! 🙂
DeleteI have seen a few of those! Not with that exact branding of course, but a few fancier Fred Meyers have similar bars. And the new Kirkland QFC has an even fancier setup that serves food too!
Congrats on the 5,000 milestone!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
