Unsurprisingly, there were quite a few people -- kids and adults alike -- pausing to check out the huge fish tank while I was here -- this is something I had no concerns about getting in trouble for photographing! And yes, I too spent a little while watching the large fish in their large tank. I really need to visit a real aquarium some day...
I remember when supermarkets used to have lobster tanks! Well, maybe they still do, I don't pay too close attention to the seafood departments. It's not quite a real aquarium, but at least it was something to see. Granted, watching the lobsters might be kind of sad knowing they will be someone's dinner soon. At least here at Bass Pro Shops, the bear is fake, lol.
ReplyDeleteI've certainly seen live seafood tanks at specialty grocery stores -- especially Asian-focused ones, which tend to have a lot of different live seafood beyond just lobsters -- but definitely not at mainstream ones!
