There sure are a lot of bears here

This view of the fish tank is a little bit better... at least you can see the fish better here,  along with a confusingly-distorted reflection of the mall corridor. I don't know fish very well, but these are clearly more the type you would go fishing for, rather than the tropical fish you would typically see in an aquarium. 

I know this sort of display is pretty much standard for Bass Pro Shops, but it all really fits into my mental model of Vancouver, as their airport has a lot of similar faux-nature styling and some giant aquaria. I haven't had the opportunity to feature it on here since I haven't flown anywhere since starting this blog, but airports are a massive fascination of mine, probably more than anything else. If and when I ever do get back to air travel, they're definitely going to show up on here! And as a result, airports are always tied up in the way I think about cities -- especially in Vancouver, which has one of the nicest airports I've ever visited.
