This corner's junior anchor is a store literally called Pro Hockey Life... it's hard to think of anything more Canadian than this! Once you get beyond that, the store itself looks pretty cool, with the hockey stick-shaped facade and elaborate interior decor, including glowing blue rings in the back.
That is an interesting store. It's one I would not expect to see anytime soon in Houston, lol. Given the name, I'd expect them to sell NHL sweaters and other team merchandise, but it looks like they actually sell hockey playing equipment in addition to perhaps also selling NHL memorabilia. It looks like they have some regular clothing as well. I'm not sure how busy this store is as compared to other Canadian sporting goods stores, but the store doesn't look very busy! Perhaps everyone is getting their sporting goods from Canadian Tire, lol.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it seems like they sell pretty much anything relating to hockey -- mostly equipment, but also memorabilia.
DeleteA sunny June day probably isn't when people are thinking about playing hockey! Anyway, they probably wouldn't mind if people were shopping Canadian Tire instead -- Canadian Tire owns Pro Hockey Life, along with Sport Chek, which is just out of frame to the right (and probably a good bit busier, in the summer at least).
