Evergreen archery

Along the left wall, the fake trees become conifers, which look a bit silly with just a couple rows of branches before they abruptly cut off at the ceiling. It's interesting how the "Archery Pro Shop" department is apparently considered to be separate from the hunting section, at least decor-wise. Unlike guns, which I find completely boring, archery is something that's always seemed at least slightly cool to me... not enough for me to ever actually get anywhere close to a bow and arrow, though; I'm far too injury-prone for that!

  1. Archery was actually one of the options my high school here in Houston had for required physical education along with the more usual options such as basketball, flag football, tennis, and so forth. I tried it for a semester because I had some friends who were interested in it, but I certainly preferred basketball and football, lol.

    1. Wow, sounds like your high school had a much more interesting PE program than mine! It was basically just boring activities/exercises, so if you wanted to do actual sports, you had to do that as an after-school thing. Thankfully, it was basically optional (technically it was required, but pretty much all you had to do to get out of it was to ask), so hardly anyone I knew actually took PE.
