Spinning around, the grand aisle at this store looks strangely empty, with produce off in its own world and Murray's being on the wall rather than an island. The lack of a service department wall running the full length of the grand aisle feels a bit odd -- instead, there's just the deli, with the bakery and meat departments behind me, fully on the back wall. There aren't even very many permanent displays, with the space instead being filled in part with pallet drops and folding tables. Don't get me wrong, this store was quite odd before the remodel, but even more now than then, it just doesn't feel like a Fred Meyer.
