The frozen cases are also surprisingly modern -- Safeway Canada must have had a more generous remodel budget than the Seattle division did. Unfortunately, the tall cases and additional merchandise piled on top makes the effect of the soaring Marina ceiling less visible than it would otherwise be. The aisle markers this decor uses are quite unusual, a horizontally-aligned panel with the number off to the side and five plaques (rather than the six that so many decor packages have settled on over the past decade or so) in one column. Being completely flat and parallel to the actionways, they aren't super useful for trying to find an aisle from across the store, especially in a cramped building like this.
