The front end is one of the few places where the store looks much blander now than before, with the loss of Playland being a major factor in that. But at least this store has a proper Fred Meyer ❤️s Kirkland sign (Totem Lake, which is what I call this store, is a neighborhood of Kirkland, and this is the only Fred Meyer within the city, so I can't really complain about the vague name), albeit with an awkward gap in the middle where the checkout-lane-count screen is. The different wording on the "guest care & money services" sign, and inclusion of the Fred Meyer logo, is also interesting!
