This store was built in 2000, out in what was then the outer fringe of Vancouver, and (as you can already somewhat tell from this picture) nothing much has changed since then! This store pretty much exactly what you would expect from a Safeway of its era, with a brick exterior, two entrances, and a lot of parking lot trees to make photography difficult.
I visited this store yesterday, and the interior is in the finishing stages of a Modern decor remodel. The old-school exterior signage is still the same, though. Sad to see it happen to such a cool & nostalgic store, but it was going to happen eventually.
