Looking forward

... While behind the store, the street level is above the top of the store, allowing for a neat view looking down on it to wrap up this set! I also like how the top of the road sign just barely pokes up above the roofline.

Coming up next week -- last time we looked at a vintage Safeway with a modern interior, so now I think it's time for a (relatively) modern Safeway with a vintage interior!

  1. Based on how scuffed up the paint is on the curbs around the drive-thru lane, it looks like the drive-thru has been here probably a lot longer than it actually has! Of course, without that drive-thru awning, one might well think this Rite Aid is some agricultural barn, machine shop, or something like that!

    1. Ha! Looking at that, the parking lot lights, the roof, etc., it's clear that Rite Aid hasn't bothered with much maintenance at this store in recent years.
