Welcome to the Rose Hill (Kirkland) Safeway!

This store was built in 1994, and most recently remodeled in early 2018 -- which, if you follow Seattle-area Safeway remodels way too closely like I do, might strike you as a bit of a strange time, as it wasn't until late 2019 that their wave of cheap Modern remodels (which appears to continue to this day) got started. In fact, I can only think of one other store that remodeled in 2018, and it's also an oddball -- but I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, especially since this store's remodel has very little in common with that one except for the date.
