Sears triangle

Which sections of neon were or weren't on seemed to be rather random. The main corridor neon was mostly on, everything in the food court and the Sears court was off, and the Macy's and JCPenney (central) courts had some turned on and some turned off. I have to wonder if there's some sort of automated system controlling the lighting here or if it's reliant on an employee controlling it; either way, it's pretty impressive that either the system still works or the employees still care enough to operate it properly, all these years later.
