That picture was looking down the Macy's wing of the mall; this one is looking towards the Sears, the closure of which doesn't seem to have impacted the mall all that much (which isn't actually all that surprising -- even when it was open, I doubt Sears generated much traffic in recent years, judging by my experience with the Southcenter location).
