The general merchandise department here really is impressive, even including small appliances and a glass display case (I don't remember what was in the case). I really hate to criticize grammar when there's a good chance the person writing something didn't speak English as their first language (I love to criticize grammar when that's not the case! 😉), but it's strange seeing all of the signs here saying "houseware" instead of "housewares".
