Each aisle in this store only gets one aisle marker, placed towards the center of the aisle -- not the easiest to see, but it's not like this store is big enough to get lost in! This aisle is another one with a rather strange selection, and I suspect it was difficult to choose the name (they went with the generic "lunch & dinner") for the right half of the aisle -- it's basically an amalgamation of part of the dairy department, overflow from produce, and the packaged bread section. It also looks like whoever designed the Colorful Lifestyle repaint wasn't sure what to do with the back wall -- most of it is plain white, and looking back at it, I think they used the pharmacy teal color, of all things, for the sign itself!
That's nuts! No, really, those are nuts in the dairy aisle! It's certainly an interesting dairy choice. Although juice often resides in the dairy cases, it's not really dairy either. Oh well, one out of three isn't bad for that dairy aisle, lol.
ReplyDeleteMike from HHR shared this with me earlier and I asked him if it would be okay to share with you since I know you'll like this (Retail Retell will like this as well if he sees this). This is some local supermarket outside the Chicago area which has a knockoff Kroger Bountiful decor package with knockoff Safeway aisle markers. If imitation is the greatest form of flattery, I suppose Kroger and Safeway should be quite flattered, lol. Link: https://goo.gl/maps/4Ax1FsQgvGHcx74r8
Ha, neat!
DeleteEggs aren't really dairy either, and they got one of the two product photos! 😃
DeleteThat's quite a nice looking decor package compared to what I'm used to with local stores like that!
