Looking the other way

Given its prime placement on the first floor, and seeing how nicely some other chains design their jewelry department (especially Macy's), it's strange to see how much of an afterthought the one here looks to be. Those base cabinets look like something you'd find at an elementary school, and there really aren't any nice accent displays like the rest of the store has. It really feels like Nordstrom ran out of creativity and/or budget by the time they got to this department, and even the seasonal decor can't rescue it.
