If you didn't like the upper levels, this should be more your taste

 

 The second floor may well be the nicest part of the building, with its terrazzo floors (even plain white terrazzo like this looks very nice), hard ceiling (no ugly ceiling tiles here!), and fancy cove lighting. This, I think, is more in line with what people would expect a high-end department store to look like! There are also some very nice fixtures here, though nothing too special compared to what other parts of the store have.

  1. This looks more like the Nordstrom I remember! The decor and inventory is a bit austere, but the design of the store fits the template of an upscale department store. It would be nice to see more color, but I don't think color has ever really been Nordstrom's thing...at least not that I can remember!
